Agree extreme clarity worked for me. I never minded stating my age ( I was 55 to 59 when online dating) and actually found mostly younger men ( in their forties) hitting on me not older men. so had a lot of fun!
For dating apps to require stating one’s age seems discriminatory. Each of us ages differently, yet stereotypes about age abound. Absent that requirement, no one would be tempted to lie.
