My husband did pelvic floor work and has regained continence. We found a pelvic floor physio who specialised in men's pelvic floors. Sadly as usual this guy only talks about prostate cancer surgery and not, as happens to many, radiotherapy and anti androgen treatment afterwards.

Hi. Sorry that your husband’s going through that and you’re going through it with him of course. I’ve been through surgery, radiation and 11 months of androgen deprivation therapy for Stage 3 prostate cancer. I am a patient of Dr. Tsambarlis and set up the interview. Here is a link to my interview with Suzanne about my sexual recovery journey.

Thank you so much for this episode. It couldn’t have come at a better time for me as I’ve been diagnosed with prostate cancer and will be having surgery in September.

This is a conversation I have not had with anyone in the urology department, they have provided leaflets but nothing as in-depth as what was discussed today.

I always assumed that after this surgery it would be the end of a sex life which I would be able to enjoy as much as my partner. You’ve given me hope that this will not be as bad as I thought it would be, it will only take recovery time. 🤞🏻❤️
